We had an amazing trip with some of our favourite lighting designers (and awesome people) last Friday when we went to Istria, the region of Croatia where Filix are based.
We went on a whirlwind factory tour to see how the fittings are made and tested in a pressure tank, climate chamber etc, all expertly explained by Marko the Engineer.
A quick drive later and we were in the medieval city of Rovinj, beautiful streets and Venetian inspired architecture. From there we took a ferry to our hotel on a small island, for a very relaxed dinner and as dessert we had a pool demo with Ivica from Filix, who was once again giving a great demonstration of pool lighting from in the water (complete with wetsuit). The hotel had very kindly allowed us to have the whole pool to ourselves. Our first client visit to Filix was even better than we hoped it would be, thanks to the friendly interaction of the group, our very considerate hosts, and one of the most beautiful parts of the world to visit.
