On the 28/2 at 9.30 we will be offering a RIBA certified CPD “LED Lighting of the Public Realm” in the Shard.
Take the opportunity to come and get the points in a fabulous environment and enjoy a high quality CPD.

This RIBA approved CPD focuses on the exterior lighting design for the public realm.
It incorporates examples of recent projects and covers how correct and incorrect lighting can affect design and usability.
It addresses user safety and environmental concerns in terms of energy saving but also how to avoid light pollution in the public realm.
The learning aims are:

  • Lighting as a way of enhancing architecture and provide a safe public realm
  • How and why we use light
  • Placement and amount of light
  • Which light to use; colour temperature and colour rendering
  • Environmental concerns; light pollution and the use of renewable energy in public realm schemes
